    Biography

    Lloyd is our partner and CEO. He founded Hayman Capital and serves as its President. Lloyd graduated from Cornell University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Michigan in 1969. He began his career in the securities industry in 1969. In 1977, he joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President and Regional Manager. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the firm’s departments in the Midwest region and managing major investment portfolios related to research and trading services.

    Lloyd is the National Co-Chair of Cornell University's Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) School Fund Campaign for 2022-2027, and he served as the Former Co-Chair of the campaign from 1990 to 1995. He is also an honorary member of the ILR Alumni Advisory Board and was elected to the Cornell University Board of Trustees as a Lifetime Member in 2022. Additionally, Lloyd serves on the board of the Creative Studies Institute and has been a former board member of the Michigan Children’s Hospital.
