Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were S2M (CSE:S2M), which rose 9.99% or 56.50 points to trade at 622.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM) added 9.98% or 40.40 points to end at 445.40 and Salafin (CSE:SLF) was up 8.09% or 50.80 points to 678.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CTM (CSE:CTM), which fell 2.43% or 22.90 points to trade at 920.10 at the close. Douja Prom Addoha (CSE:ADH) declined 2.31% or 0.90 points to end at 38.05 and Med Paper (CSE:MDP) was down 2.16% or 0.49 points to 22.19.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 39 to 15 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in S2M (CSE:S2M) rose to all time highs; rising 9.99% or 56.50 to 622.30.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.45% or 0.28 to $62.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.35% or 0.23 to hit $66.35 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 41.81 to trade at $3,335.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.00% to 10.55, while USD/MAD rose 0.14% to 9.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 99.22.
